Energy, Passion, Commitment
As a Realtor, Charlie’s purpose is to represent you. It’s why he loves the business. For Charlie, taking care of his clients — seeing that they get the best deal and are as comfortable as possible — is what it’s all about. Charlie’s constant management of your experience reduces a deluge of tasks down to the fewest, clearest choices possible. Whether it’s touring dozens of homes, working late into the evening, or ensuring every “i” is dotted and “t” crossed, Charlie will do whatever is needed to get the job done right.
In addition to lightening the load, Charlie will help ensure the right road is taken. Real estate transactions are complex and each has a unique set of challenges. Perhaps a timeline needs to be met, the exact home must be found, or a budget needs to be maintained. The standard mountain of paperwork must be signed and typically multiple addendums are needed to protect your interests. Everyone involved — sellers, buyers, lenders, inspectors, appraisers, stagers, title professionals, contractors, city officials, and others — has a different set of goals and interests. When the single largest financial transaction of your life is on the line, you want an experienced, trusted guide on your side of the table.
Charlie has been serving Sellers and Buyers of homes in the Twin Cities for years. Be they single-family, condominiums, or townhomes, Charlie has seen the real estate process through from start to finish dozens and dozens of times. Since he’s been through the system so many times, he can frequently spot opportunities and prevent problems before they arise.
Prior to joining Edina Realty, Charlie was with the Lander Group, one of the most respected urban housing developers in the nation. There he worked across sales & marketing, project management, and warranty functions. He sold out the award-winning Midtown Lofts, made significant contributions to Printer’s Row and 2626 West Lake, helped overhaul the company’s standard Purchase Agreement and Condominium Documents, and was frequently tapped for his ability to write persuasive copy.
Prior to finding his calling in Real Estate, Charlie worked for Arthur Andersen and American Express, and earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. These experiences give him an excellent analytical and financial foundation upon which to operate.
Charlie is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and President of the West River Commons Condominium Association. He received a mini-MBA in Real Estate Development from the University of St. Thomas and recently earned his ePro designation, signifying him as one of select few Realtors trained to provide high quality, innovative online-based real estate services.
As a 30+ year resident of the Twin Cities’, Charlie’s been around your block. Probably several times. Neighborhood values and trends, traffic patterns, school reputations, retail, recreation and entertainment options – Charlie’s on top of it all. Whether it is marketing your home, or matching your interests and personality to a particular area, Charlie’s knowledge of the Twin Cities is a great aid.
